Bhubaneswar: A group of people have been appointed to collect the pending tax by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. There is more than 11 crore pending tax in the capital to be collected. This newly formed group is going to accomplish that. The member of the groups are transgenders. This is a unique decision taken and this group is going to touch the biggest defaulters of the Capital.
The list of the defaulters is very big which might cross 300 and those are all big defaulters. They have been deliberately ignoring the notices from the government. The newly formed group have show a tremendous effort and collected around 66 thousand rupees on the very first day. Holding the government tax is a big offence and there are many people doing it in the state capital. The first day they hit the owners of residential and commercial buildings those were not paying tax from a long time.
