Diwali gift for central government employees
New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has brought good news for the central government during the corona crisis. “Several steps have been taken to increase the demand for the financial system,” Finance Minister Nirmala SitaRaman told a news conference here today. To boost demand, the government is stepping up its spending and capital expenditures. The government has introduced LTC Cash Vouchers and Festival Advantage. Sitharaman said the cost would be given to boost demand in the market.
Employees can avail the festival advance of Rs 10,000 without interest. This money will be given a chance to make 10 installments. The simultaneous festival Advantage to Central Government Employees will cost Rs 4,000 crore. Central and state government employees can take advantage of this, as well as employees working in public sector companies.
