Bhubaneswar: Dharmendra Pradhan has given a speech on the Prime Minister’s Water Life Mission. He said the Modi government was working to address the state’s water crisis. It aims to supply piped water to all households in the state. It aims to provide drinking water to all households in the country by 2024.
There are a total of 81.25 lakh households in rural Odisha. Less than 4 percent of families have access to piped water. This year, Odisha has received Rs 812 crore under the Water Life Mission. The Prime Minister’s call supply project will increase the demand for domestic electricity. “After sanitation, water security has become a new problem for India,” Dharmendra said.
