Helpline facility for passports at J&K

Jammu: The police of Jammu and Kashmir have set up a helpline number facility for public. This will help people to know the status of their passports and the verification process etc. According to the police, this service has been started from the beginning of the year. The provided phone number will help people get updated about the status of their passports. There are more than 2500 call received out of which 300 odd inquires have been resolved. This has been only a month though, but the service is already facilitating the public. They are trying to solve maximum number of enquirers according to the officials. They have also people to share the helpline number as much as possible, which will help the people and speed up their process.
