In Protest of the passage of 3 bills on the farmers in Parliament by the Modi government, the PCC marched and issued a memorandum to the Governor addressed to the President

Bhubaneswar: On the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, the Congress leaders marched from Gopbandhu Chowk to Raj Bhavan on behalf of the PCC. 11.30 p.m. A delegation led by MLA Tarabahini Pati, a well-known delegation to the Governor’s Office, addressed a memorandum to the President on the occasion of the passage of a bill to kill three farmers in the current Parliament by the Governor. It has been revealed that the bottom line will cause huge losses to millions of small, mum, nomadic and sharecroppers across Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra and across the country, including Odisha. They will be deprived of the minimum support price of various food grains. This would have added even more fuel to the fire, and would have benefited farmers and landlords more. The Modi-led BJP government at the Center, which has been kicking the stomachs of food donors, has deceived farmers. The Congress party has always stood by to protect the interests of farmers and their families across the country.

The function was presided over by Mr. Pradeep Majha, Executive President of the PCC.
