Karnataka says 50% seating limit in cinema halls from April 7

Karnataka: Karnataka says 50% seating limit in cinema halls,  Karnataka government has expanded the ramifications of its request in regards to 50 percent seating limit in film corridors and it is to be appropriate from April 7.

Karnataka government declared yesterday that a request covering the seating limit in auditoriums at 50% would now be pertinent from April 7, following solicitation from the Kannada entertainment world.

“Under provision 10 of the request, seating permitted in the film lobby was confined to a limit of 50% of the seating limit. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has made a solicitation to CM to permit film lobbies to run because of the way that advances online appointments have been made in light of the non-receipt of early notification. It is presently, concluded that the said limitation will be made relevant with impact from seventh April 2021,” the request from the Karnataka government read.
