Kendujhar: The district BJP today informed about the various schemes taken for agriculture and farmers in the country by the prime minister through a press conference. The function was presided over by District President Anshuman Sabuj Mahant Burma. In addition, the scheme will benefit farmers, farmers, APOs and agricultural enterprises, as well as money for a variety of agricultural-based constructions. Within 30 days of the Cabinet approval, Rs 1000 crore has been demanded from the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund in the first phase to the 2280 Farmers Cooperative Society. On the back of the Prime Minister’s PM-Kisan Yojana, the state government has provided Rs 17,000 crore for 8.5 crore farmers and a total of more than Rs 90,000 crore to the tune of 10 crore farmers since 2018, the state spokesperson said. In addition, the state government has not been able to spend the money provided by the central government for agriculture and farmers, adding that farmers in the state cannot benefit from it.
