Bhubaneswar: With the lockdown period extended up to May 3, the Centre has decided to curb the lock-down from April 20. But this is not the case for all districts. The government has ordered a lockdown in the hotspot-identified district. There will also be ruled in Twin City. State Chief Secretary Ashit Tripathy said the lockdown would continue in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar as before. The lockdown on the capital, Bhubaneswar, will continue to intensify. “It simply came to our notice then. The Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation has also informed that it will be taken. “Agriculture is being started very carefully,” Chief Secretary Ashit Tripathy tweeted. But that will not change much in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. The cuts will continue as before. That’s why people stay at home. “People should be safe,” he said. The lockdown will continue until further notice, the police commissioner Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi said. So, people in the capital, please do not expect anything from tomorrow (April 20). We urge people to cooperate.
