Major fire broke at Indian Oil petrol pump

Eight individuals were harmed in a significant fire that broke out at an Indian Oil Corporation petroleum siphon close to Raj Bhavan today, police said.

Two of the harmed are basic and have been moved to SCB Medical College and clinic in Cuttack, said L D Sahu, overseer of Capital Hospital, where the rest are being dealt with. “Our need is to guarantee that the fire doesn’t spread to the two different tanks containing petroleum and diesel,” Commissioner of Police S Sarangi said. Three fire tenders have been squeezed into administration to soak the flares, Sarangi said. The reason for the blast is yet to be learned, he included.
