Supreme Court today dismissed a request looking for restriction on Halal type of butchering of creatures which is clung to by the Muslim people group. A seat headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul scrutinized the aim of the solicitor and furthermore said that court can’t meddle with the food propensities for individuals.
“Court can’t figure out who can be a vegan or non-veggie lover. The individuals who need to eat Halal meat can eat Halal meat. The individuals who need to eat Jhatka meat can eat Jhatka meat,” the seat which likewise involved equity Dinesh Maheshwari said. The court was hearing a request documented by an association, Akhand Bharat Morcha, testing Section 28 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
