New Delhi: Migrant Indians living in different countries are being repatriated due to the coronavirus. The central government has launched two “Bande Bharat Mission” and “Setu Samuda” campaigns to repatriate thousands of expatriate Indians trapped abroad for the “coronavirus”. While migrant Indians rescued by air in “Bande Bharat Abhiyan”, “Setu Samudra” is rescuing migrant Indians from Maldives by sea. Of the Indians who have left their homes, 595 are men and 103 are women, including 19 pregnant women. Kochi and the Tamil Nadu port of Tuticorin, which travels to the Maldives twice, are expatriates. The Indians will be brought back to India.
