Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government’s Planning Board Vice-Chairman has returned to Bhubaneswar by helicopter on 16.09.2010 after a long migration. The visit has raised questions in various quarters. According to the travel schedule issued by the Office of the Planning Board Vice-Chairman (Letter 108 / Uvchau, Bhavagdhar 08.07.2012), he left Bhubaneswar on 13.07.2020 and spent the night in Gajapati district. The next day, he visited the Gunapur and Bisamakattak assembly constituencies in Rayagada and spent the night in Rayagada. Nabarangpur Umarkot, Jhrigaon and Daru Gaon assembly constituencies were visited on 16.07 .2020. According to his agenda, only government programs were held in Gajapati, Rayagada and Nabarangpur.
His visit to the district commissioner includes a review of MNREGA, the National Food Security Act and other schemes. Although Koraput was handed over, there was no program in Koraput district. During the four-day visit of the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Board, only three days of government review meetings were held. The other day he was to tour various assembly constituencies. It is worth mentioning here that he is the General Secretary of Biju Janata Dal and District Supervisor of Rayagada and Nabarangpur of Biju Janata Dal with the title of Planning Board.
No government or political committees are prohibited from considering the severity of the corona epidemic. During the meeting, the Vice-Chairman of the Planning Board had a long visit and a large number of government and political meetings. The task of the Planning Board is to draft a long-term plan for the province, which will move the province forward. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to the complainant. Mr. Majhi complained that it had violated the status of a constitutional post. The visit is being discussed among people with less government work and more party work. This is reflected in his travel schedule, which mentions travel to various assembly constituencies. In addition, only Rayagada and Nabarangpur MPs, MLAs and Zilla Parishad members, who are Biju Janata Dal district supervisors, are invited to the Dunk Travel Schedule, while the senior Rajya Sabha MPs in the area are not invited at all.
