The administration should work on the identification process, not just by shutdown

Jajpur: The Jajpur district administration has announced that after 60 hours of shortcuts, the Madhya Pradesh government will again shutdown from 12 hours afternoon to 29 hours today that is for 54 hours. Five blocks in the district, including Jajpur, Dasharathpur, Bari, Bijnarpur, Korei and Jajpur municipality, have been declared as blockade areas. According to the Kolkata link, more than 700 people have been reported to have come to Jajpur district, leaving 18 people stranded in the dark today due to unrecognized beatings and simplicity of work. The number is expected to rise, said Vidyadhar Mohanty, chairman of the state unorganized workers’ Congress. The failure of people to come and register on their own has caused headaches in the district administration. According to the district administration, in collaboration with the sarpanches of the village panchayat, the law has been tightened and Mr. Mohanty has called on the district magistrate to bring them to custody.
